Programme of Events
The Hull Civic Society offer a programme of talks on matters of local interest during the winter and visits and guided walks during the summer. Admission is free to members, £2 to non-members. All meetings are at the Mercure Royal Hotel, Ferensway. Commencing at 7:30pm unless otherwise stated

Mon 11th July, 6.30 pm: Guided visit to the Hornsea Pottery collection at Hornsea Museum.
Please note that this visit has been cancelled for lack of support.
Winter Programme 2016-17
All meetings are at the Mercure Royal Hotel, Ferensway, on Mondays at 7.30 pm (unless otherwise stated).
12th Sept: Annual General Meeting (part 2) The agenda will comprise the matters outstanding from the AGM which was suspended on 11th April: annual accounts, election of officers and the date of the next AGM.
This will be followed by the talk which was also postponed: “Converging on Hull” – John Scotney looks at the industries that attracted his ancestors to Hull.
10th October. “Celebrating 250 years of Jewish Life in Hull 1766-2016” David Lewis
Subsequent meetings will be on 14th November, 2nd December, 9th January, 13th February, 13th March,
