  1. 41-45 George St (The Venue) – railings in connection with conversion into a hotel (Mr Mounimne). Approved
  2. Circus Circus pub, Spencer St – demolish & build 7 storey office block (Essential Leisure  Ltd)  Refused
  3. Land and buildings at 20-24 Baker St – Cons Area Consent sought for complete demolition of unlisted buildings in a Cons Area without requirement to have a contract in place for replacement building (30/10).
  4. The new History Centre is physically complete and vans from a specialist relocation firm were in evidence in November.  The Family & Local History Club (which meets at Central Library on the 2nd Tuesday of each month) is having a visit on 8th December (12.30) and it will be open to the public in January.  The landscaping is very attractive.  (Good Mark?)
  5. Ferensway – LA’s (AKA Locarno Ballroom) site was cleared during October & November – ending Ferensway’s brief spell of being fully built up on both sides!
